We’ve got a special destination for Scooter Night, this Thursday! A club member hooked us up at Julie’s on the Waterfront, and the owner will stay open late just for us! It’s a little farther than our normal destinations, so let’s all be ready right at 8 to hop on our bikes and ride off. Stardust at 7, ride out at 8! Need more information? Post up on the forum!

Attention lads and lasses! We’re headed to Claddagh Cottage this week! That’s “Cladda”…like “batta”…as in “Swing batta batta, swing batta batta suh-wiing!”. Anyway, however you mispronounce it, Claddagh Cottage is a great Irish pub. Good (and not pricey) grub, proper pints, pool, darts, and all that dark wood and stuff that makes pubs feel pubby. So meet us at Stardust at the usual 7 pm and have your rides ready to roll out at 8! Meanwhile, come visit us in The Forum!

This week’s destination is a little different. With the big turnouts we’ve been having, it can be tough finding a single location that can hold everyone. That’s why, this week, we’re going to Wildside BBQ AND Anthony’s! Other places are also within walking/scooting distance, like Graffiti Junction, so you’re covered no matter what you’re feeling. We’re basically just going to Thornton Park! Pick the restaurant you like, and there’s likely to be folks who are going there, too. We’ll meet up at 7pm at Stardust and ride out at 8pm. And if you have a suggestion for a place that can handle a big crowd, by all means, post it on the forum!

Complimentary homemade pickles. Mmmm…now doesn’t that sound nice? What about excellent sandwiches? Flatbread pizzas? Indoor and outdoor seating? A wide variety of fine beers on tap? No? Still not interested? Well how about just coming along and suffering through those hardships at Jax 5th Ave Deli and Ale House for the good company of Orlando Scooter Society! As always, we’ll meet up at Stardust at 7 pm, engage in casual banter until 8 pm when we roll scooter-style to Jax. A great place to relax. 50 to Max. Scooter Night – April 12th

Last week’s turnout was great! The weather was wonderful, and everyone enjoyed a bit of a longer ride on a Thursday night. We’re going someplace close this week, but maybe we can take the scenic route if that’s what everyone likes. That said, we’re going to Johnny’s Filling Station this Thursday! The ‘dust at 7pm, ride out at 8pm. Want to voice your opinion on ride length or destination choice? Tell us on the forum!

It’s already April, but we’re not fooling around when it comes to Scooter Night! To start the month off with a bang (Figuratively, or so we hope), we’re going to take a bit of a longer ride than normal. This Thursday, show up to Stardust at 7pm with a full tank of gas. It’s right next to 7-Eleven, so no excuses! At 8pm, we’ll be riding out to Moe’s Southwest Grill. Which one, you ask? Well, on that has a nice route to it, a bit of a ride but not way out there… You’ll just have to show up to find out! Or, you can try pestering Scott on the forum. One way or another, we hope to see you there!

With another successful Scooters 4 Hooters behind us, the club winds back down for another weekly Scooter Night. You know how things are. Meet up at Stardust Video & Coffee at 7pm. Hang around, talk to people, look at bikes. At 8pm, suit up and be ready to ride out to our destination. This week, we’re off to Oblivion down on Colonial. Things have been warming up, so it should be a good turnout! If we can’t see you there, though, we hope we’ll at least see you on the forum!

Scooters 4 Hooters Pre-Ride – March 24th

It’s that time of year, again! Time for Scooters 4 Hooters, and as always, the Orlando Scooter Society pre-ride! If the Scooters 4 Hooters ride isn’t enough scootering for you, meet up with us at 10:30am for a ride before the event. We’ll be meeting up at our usual Thursday-night hangout, Stardust Video & Coffee in Winter Park. Engines on by 11am to ride on out! We’ve had a great turnout the past few years (Breast Club Turnout Award for 2010 and 2011!), and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone there again this year!
