Scooter Night – September 2nd

A BIG THANK YOU goes out to everyone who joined in the festivities at Orlando Scooter Society’s longest ride ever to St. Augustine. We hope you had as much fun as we did! Now be sure to rest up early this week so you can join us again this Thursday, September 2nd for our weekly Scooter Night. As usual, we will be meeting at 7pm at the Stardust in Winter Park. This week we’ll ride out at 8pm to head over to Jax 5th Avenue Deli and Ale House off of Edgewater Drive. Rain or shine, we look forward to seeing you soon!

**Mark your calendars: White Sand Mayhem II is coming up quickly – September 24, 25, & 26 in Pensacola. Please check the EVENTS section of the forum for more info and to confirm your attendance and transportation/accommodation plans.

Scooter Night – August 26th

Come rain or shine, the weekly scooter nights have become quite a lively event! Join us again this Thursday, August 26th for another great evening of good food, drinks, and of course, scooter talk. As always, we’ll be meeting up at 7pm at the Stardust in Winter Park and riding out at 8pm to Hamburger Mary’s on Church Street (http://www.hamburgermarys-orlando.com/index.php). We hope to see you there before this weekend’s extraordinary St. Augustine adventure!

*Save-the-Date: I’m sure you know about the St. Augustine ride by now (Aug. 27-29), but also be sure to mark your calendars for the upcoming White Sand Mayhem rally in Pensacola (Sept. 24-26).

What an exciting time this has been for Orlando Scooter Society! We welcome everyone who has been joining us for their first time these past couple of weeks and hope you have been enjoying the weekly meets and wrench day this weekend. Join us again at 7pm this Thursday, August 19th at the Stardust in Winter Park for another great scooter night. This week we’ll be riding out at 8pm to head over to Johnny’s Fillin Station on Michigan Avenue (http://www.johnnysfillinstation.com/). We hope to see you there!

What an incredible turnout last week! Thank you to everyone who showed for a fantastic ride throughout downtown and up the parking garage. We hope you enjoyed it. Join us again this Thursday, August 12th for another great Scooter Night. Meet us at 7pm at the Stardust in Winter Park, followed by a ride at 8pm to Mellow Mushroom. Wrench Day – August 14th

Whether you need to change the belt, tune your newest kit, or just enjoy tinkering with scooters wrench day is open to anyone who wants to learn how to work/add performance to their scooter, needs maintance, or just wants to lend a helping hand. Join us this Saturday at 11am at Scott’s garage as we work on all types of scoots (TnG, Vintage, 4stroke, 2stroke, etc.). We will also be taking a short ride for a late lunch at Chili Daddy (www.chilidaddy.com). For questions or directions, PM “stick” on the forum.

Scooter Night – August 5th

Despite the rain, we still had a decent turn out at last week’s Scooter Night. We thank you for your unconditional commitment come rain or shine. Come join us again this Thursday for another great Scooter Night. We hope to see everyone at the Stardust at 7pm on Thursday, August 5th. We will be riding out at 8pm to get a bite to eat, maybe a drink or too, and take in the sites at the Wall Street Cantina in Downtown Orlando. Monthly Ride – August 27th through 29th

Hotel reservations are in and many of us got our scoots ready at wrench day, so now we welcome you to the biggest ride ever for Orlando Scooter Society. Join us next weekend for an adventure back in time to St. Augustine, Florida. We will be meeting at 7pm on Friday 8/27 at the Stardust in Winter Park. Please arrive on time as we will be riding out promptly at 7:15pm to get to St. Augustine around 11 to check into the Pirate Haus. Saturday we’ll be up and ready to ride by 10am to the historical area to meet with any other scooter groups who wish to join in. Saturday will allow everyone to get into small groups to tour the area at their discretion. Everyone will meet back at the Pirate Haus at 6pm to head out to Mclean’s Pub for dinner. Sunday we’ll get up at 9am and head back to Orlando around 10:30am, returning to town around 3pm. Be sure to check the forum for additional information. Further details will also be posted next week. Can’t wait!
