It’s time for the first scooter night of the new year!  How about we go on a longish ride through Winter Park, and end up at the Copper Rocket!  Deep fried bacon, burgers and beers!

This week we are headed to Oblivion Taproom! it one of my favorite places we go to! They have good burgers, wings, and a bunch of beer on tap. If you tend to like cider they have one of largest list of ciders I have seen. This is going to be the last scooter night of the year our next one will be after the new year, so come out and get your scooter fix because it will be a while before you can do it again!

Been kinda a gloomy week so..lets eat some BBQ! This week’s destination is Holy Smoke BBQ where they have not only good BBQ but also a fair amount of seafood also and cold beer! Weather should be good for this ride.

We are going to Harp and Celt downtown! They have food, beer, and good times but not much parking so keep an eye open for a good spot!

Hope everyone has enjoyed their thanksgiving. Since most people over ate, we are going to a very interesting bar this week. Taps from Scratch is own by a homebrewer who turned pro, expect a unique drinking experience in a friendly lounge atmosphere. it is $15 the first time ($10 every time after) and you get a glass (you keep), you can drink as much as you want. It is located across from the Stardust where we have our meets so our ride can really go in any driection…if the group wants a quick bite we will hit up california buritto express or something quick like that before ending the ride at Taps from Scratch.

Thursday:

7pm: Special Scooter night at the stardust…expect guest appearences from your favorite out-of-town scooterist!

8pm: Ride to Orlando Brewing and probably somewhere else after that.
Friday:

2pm: Ride from Orlando (meet at Stardust coffee) to Wekiva Falls for the locals and early birds…should arrive at the camp site around 3pm.

5pm to 7pm: Meet n’ greet at Wekiva Falls. Pick up your rally bag/t-shirt/random prizes.

7pm: Dinner ride to Sanford

9pm: Return ride to Wekiva Falls for good times!
Saturday:

10am to 11am: Rally bag pick up (for those who came in late)

11am: Ride out to Tavares area for lunch

2pm: Ride to Gymkhana site

2:30pm to 3:30pm: Scooter games

3:30pm: Ride back to Wekiva Falls

6pm: Ride to Debary for dinner (changed from Mount Dora due to a local festival in town)

8:30pm: Ride back to Wekiva Falls

9pm: Awards 9:30pm till ???: Party time!

Sunday:

10am: Brunch

Last week hurricane Sandy scared off most…it scared me so much I didn’t even post! This week we shall go to Claddagh Cottage Irish Pub. They have food and beer… its also a cool place that I have been wanting to go back to ever since the last time we were there. Weather should be clear but be sure to put on atleast a jacket, expect it to be cool out.

Last week was a bit of a wash out but…rain chances are low this week! Actually the weather should be about perfect for riding. You may want to bring a light jacket even. Our destination this week is going to be Spooky’s black cat cafe / Milk district. Good food and beer. If Spooky’s doesn’t seem like your style there are other places near by in the Milk district, find a friend and explore!
